About Sair Sapata

Developed by the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC), Sair Sapata is a tourism and entertainment complex situated on the banks of Bada Talaab (Upper Lake). Inaugurated on September 29, 2011, it was designed to provide families and tourists with a world-class recreational space.

Visitor Flow & Experience Steps

Follow this recommended itinerary to make the most of your evening at Sair Sapata.

Parking
🚗 Step 1

Parking & Arrival

4:30 PM - 4:45 PM

Secure parking is available (Car: ₹20 / Bike: ₹10). Pay the minimal entry fee (₹20/Adult) at the gate. Arriving late afternoon helps you beat the heat.

Bridge
🌉 Step 2

Bridge Walk & Views

4:45 PM - 5:30 PM

Walk across the 183m Suspension Bridge. This is the best time for daylight photography and appreciating the unique RCC engineering and lake panorama.

Toy Train
🎢 Step 3

Family Fun & Rides

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Head to the 2-acre Children's Play Zone. Enjoy the Toy Train (~₹25), animal rides, or adrenaline activities like Zorbing and Car Dashing while the sun is still up.

Sunset
🌅 Step 4

Sunset Tranquility

6:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Find a spot at one of the designated Viewpoints. Watch the sun dip below the hills across Bada Talaab for a moment of peace before the evening lights turn on.

Fountain
⛲ Step 5

Musical Fountain Show

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The main evening event. The fountain dances to music and lights, and the bridge is fully illuminated, creating spectacular reflections on the water.

Dinner
🍽️ Step 6

Dinner & Departure

8:00 PM Onwards

Grab a snack at the kiosks or head to Van Vihar Road for a full dinner. The complex stays open until 10:00 PM for a leisurely exit.
